TREE CARE
If you would like to keep your Christmas tree FRESH and HEALTHY throughout the holiday season, it is important to take good care of it. KEEP THE SEASON ALIVE.
Instructions
- Keep the Christmas tree out of direct sunlight, away from any other heat source, or else it will dry up.
- Use a saw to make a perpendicular cut in the base of the tree 0.5-1 inch thick, before putting it in water.
- Avoid putting too many lights on the Christmas tree. Overuse of lights will cause the tree to overheat, which can dry it up. LED lights are also a good alternative, since they do not produce much heat.
- Put the tree in a spot in your home that it fits into easily. For example, don’t try to shove an 8-foot Christmas tree into a 7-foot space.
- Fill the tree stand with cold water, and make sure this stays filled at all times. (If the tree is without water for a while, you may need to make another cut at its base, so that it can properly absorb water again)
- Get a spray bottle, fill it with cold water, and spray the Christmas tree once per day, to make sure the entire tree stays hydrated. Spray it only when all lights, and anything else electrical around the tree, is unplugged.
